The Captains Flat Telegraph is a free, not for profit newspaper for the people of Captains Flat and surrounding area. It is produced by a retired pensioner as a free service to the community utilizing her knowledge and experience. The printing, collating and folding is undertaken by volunteers. The production of the three hundred plus (300+) copies of the fortnightly paper over the last eight years is only possible by those who support the paper.
The following organizations provide on rotational basis the funding of the cartridge required by the Sharp AR-5618D photocopier, Essential Energy, Captains Flat Community Association, Local RSL & Bowling Club, and Palerang Council.
Paper is provided by Telstra Country Wide and those with advertisements.
